Policy for Notification and Takedown Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
We take claims of copyright infringement seriously and will respond quickly to valid notices that follow the guidelines set forth by the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) (the full text of which can be found on the website of the United States Copyright Office at http://www.copyright.gov).
Users of www.globeroadmap.com are obligated to follow all copyright laws while using any portion of the site. However, if we receive valid notice of claimed copyright infringement, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity and/or terminating contributors, regardless of whether we may be liable for such infringement under United States law or the laws of another jurisdiction.
To comply with Sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA, if we remove or disable access in response to such a notice, we will make a good faith effort to notify the content author so that they can submit a counter-notification. Notices of alleged infringement on which we take action may also be recorded.
