A tourist from Slovakia lost her identity card and spent two days in the transit zone at the Sarafovo airport in Burgas, Bulgaria. The accident occurred between August 20 and August 22. As the victim herself stated, she had an identity card when she boarded the plane at Kosice Airport, and two hours later she could not find it at the Burgas airport.
The Slovak tourist could not provide an identity card at the Burgas airport and was stuck in the transit zone.
The Embassy of Slovakia could issue temporary documents to its citizen that would allow her to leave the territory of Bulgaria and return to her homeland. However, the victim decided to ask her relatives to send her international passport, one of the flights from Slovakia to Burgas, which she soon delivered to her.
So, the misadventures of a vacationer from Slovakia seem to have ended and she was finally able to leave Sarafovo airport in Burgas and now can really rest on one of the Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria.
